Krypto VS Cosmo

Biography-

Krypto was the toddler Kal-El’s dog while they were on Krypton. Jor-El was testing prototypes for the rocket that would eventually send Kal-El to Earth and decided to use Krypto as a test subject. However, Krypto’s rocket was knocked off-course and the rocket drifted through space for years until it eventually landed on earth. Krypto was then reunited with the now-teenaged superhero, Superboy. Due to the environment, Krypto possessed the same powers and abilities as his master. When fighting crime, Krypto wore a gold collar, a miniature facsimile of the famed Superman-“S” symbol for a dog tag, and a dog-sized version of Superman’s cape.

Powers-

Krypto can fire beams of intense heat at a target by looking at it. He can vary the heat and area affected.

Krypto’s hearing is sensitive enough to hear any sound at any volume or pitch. With skill and concentration, he can block out ambient sounds to focus on a specific source or frequency.

 Krypto’s vision processes the entire electromagnetic spectrum as well as allowing vast control over selective perception and focus.

 Krypto can see well into most of the electromagnetic spectrum. He can see and identify radio and television signals as well as all other broadcast or transmitted frequencies.

 Krypto can avoid detection by radar or satellite monitoring methods.

Krypto has the ability to see something at a great distance, without violating the laws of physics.

Krypto has the ability to see through any volume of matter except lead. Krypto can see things behind a solid, opaque object as if it were not there. He can focus this ability to “peel back” layers of an object, allowing hidden images or inner workings to be observed.

Krypto has the ability to see extremely small objects and images down to the atomic level.

Krypto’s can see with better acuity in darkness, and to a degree in total darkness.

Krypto is able to manipulate graviton particles to defy the forces of gravity and achieve flight. This ranges from hovering to moving in any posture, in any direction.

 Krypto is invulnerable to extreme energy forces due to the interaction of his dense molecular structure and supercharged bio-electric aura. In addition, this provides protection against toxins and diseases.

Krypto is able to maintain continuous strenuous physical action for an indefinite period of time. This is limited by physiological and psychological needs to eat, drink, and sleep.

Krypto is able to move at incredible speed by sheer force of will. This extends to his perceptions and allows for feats such as catching bullets in mid flight as well as covering vast distances in little or no time.

Krypto is able to create hurricane force winds by exhaling air from his lungs. He can chill the air as it leaves his lungs to freeze targets. He can also reverse the process to pull large volumes of air or vapor into his lungs.

Biography- 

Cosmo was a former test animal of the Soviet space program. He was launched into Earth’s orbit as part of an experiment but he drifted off into space at some point during the 1960s, arriving in Knowhere and at some point being mutated by cosmic rays. He eventually came to serve as the station’s security chief.

Powers- 

Cosmo is an incredibly gifted telekinetic, and is capable of amazingly precise use of his telekinesis.

Cosmo can read and manipulate the minds of others and even higher order animals.

Cosmo can mask his presence and the use of his abilities from being detected by other psions and psychic entities. He can extend these defenses to others around him as well.

Cosmo has the ability to erect a psychic shield for protection of himself and of others minds.

Cosmo can create realistic and very detailed illusions and cause people to experience events which are not actually occurring.

Cosmo can alter the apparent physical appearance of himself and other people by altering the perceptions of those around him.

Cosmo can control the thoughts and actions of others.

Cosmo can induce temporary mental or physical paralysis.

Cosmo can erase any awareness of particular memories or cause total amnesia.

Cosmo can telepathically “sedate” his victims so that, if already rendered unconscious, they remain so for as long as he continues to “sedate” them.

Cosmo can project psionic force bolts which have no physical effects but which can affect a victim’s mind so as to cause the victim pain or unconsciousness. It can also cause one to suffer from a stroke, eventually making someone brain-dead.

Cosmo can sense the presence of another superhuman within a small radius of himself by perceiving the distinctive mental radiations emitted by such a being.

Cosmo is decades older than the normal maximum life expectancy of a dog.
