Green Arrow VS Hawkeye

Biography-

As a young child Oliver Queen idolized his hero Robin Hood and was said to be a natural archer, frequently practicing with his bow and arrows. He was mildly traumatized the first time he accidentally killed an animal, but when his mother and father were mauled by lions in a tragic safari accident his hesitation to shoot cost them their lives. Afterwards he was raised by his uncle and eventually inherited the family fortune and business. Queen grew into a rich, thrill-seeking, and drunken playboy with no real sense of responsibility or direction in his life. Everything changed when he fell off his boat in the middle of the ocean and washed ashore on the remote isolated Starfish Island, clutching a bow – a memento from a Robin Hood movie – which he had used to keep himself afloat. On the island he was completely stranded  without food or shelter. Queen developed his skills as a hunter to survive and gained mastery over his bow. Having previously taken everything in his life for granted, this experience taught him self-reliance and made him into a man. His second test of new character was the discovery of drug smugglers on the island run by the ruthless international crime lord China White. Using his new skills, he attacked and destroyed their heroin operation, then delivered them to the authorities before returning home. Realizing that he had found his destiny, he chose to use his abilities and resources as a crime-fighter. With a nickname coined by the press, he made it his mission to protect Star City.

Powers-

Green Arrow is a master archer with his accomplishments standing as superhuman, although it is just due to natural talent and years of experience.

Green Arrow is able to shoot 29 arrows in under a minute. He is also able to shoot arrows up to 95 mph. He has also demonstrated the ability to shoot an arrow down the barrel of a gun, split a drop of water while it slowly leaves the tap, and has made several accurate shots while simultaneously performing an acrobatic maneuver.

 Green Arrow is depicted as being able to accurately and rapidly shoot tennis balls as they are thrown up into the air. Although Green Arrow is capable of aiming and shooting at almost any area of the human body, he typically aims to only wound and only kills in the direst of situations.

Green Arrow’s arsenal includes arrows armed with explosive arrows, grappling arrows, and his famous boxing-glove arrow. In recent years, he has used these arrows in conjunction with regular arrows.

Green Arrow is a poor combatant compared to martial arts experts such as Batman and Black Canary; however, he is a capable brawler and is able to take down common street thugs. He became a master martial artist in his own right after revealing that he had trained for several months with some of the finest martial artists, including Deathstroke’s trainer, Natas.

 Green Arrow is an accomplished swordsman. He is able to deflect an incoming arrow with a sword and he has proven to be a challenge for other skilled swordsman’s such as Deathstroke and Red Hood. Green Arrow has also proven to be an accomplished hunter, acrobat, survivalist, tactician, politician and pilot.

Green Arrow owns and flys an arrow-shaped airplane called the “Arrow plane”. He also drives an arrow-shaped automobile dubbed the “Arrowcar”.

Biography-

Clint Barton was born in Waverly, Iowa. At a young age he lost both of his parents in a car accident. After six years in an orphanage, Clint and his brother Barney ran away to join the Carson Carnival of Travelling Wonders. Clint soon caught the eye of the Swordsman, who took the young boy on as his assistant. Along with the help of Trick Shot, the Swordsman trained Clint to become a master archer. Clint later found the Swordsman embezzling money from the carnival. Before he could turn his mentor over to the authorities, Clint was beaten and left for dead, allowing the Swordsman to escape town. Clint’s relationship with his brother Barney and Trick Shot soon deteriorated as well. Clint adapted his archery skills to become a star carnival attraction, a master archer called “Hawkeye”, otherwise known as “The World’s Greatest Marksman” and spent some time as a member of Tiboldt’s Circus, before joining the Coney Island Circus. He then witnessed Iron Man in action and was inspired to become a costumed hero.

Powers-

Hawkeye is an exceptional fencer, acrobat and marksman, having been trained from childhood in the circus and by the criminals Trick Shot and Swordsman. This includes considerable strength, as a supervillain found out when he tried to use the superhero’s 250 pounds-force (1,100 newtons) draw-weight bow and found that he could not draw back the string to launch an arrow.

Hawkeye has been thoroughly trained by Captain America in tactics, martial arts, and hand-to-hand combat. Hawkeye excels in the use of ranged weapons, especially the bow and arrow, and carries a quiver containing a number of customized “trick arrows”.

Hawkeye is known to use a “Sky-Cycle” as his mode of transportation. The Sky-Cycle is modelled after a commercial snowmobile and is fitted with anti-gravitational technology. It is voice-operated and has an auto-pilot steering system.
