Vision Vs Martian Manhunter

Biography-

The robot Ultron is the creator of Vision, a type of android he calls a “synthezoid”, for use against Ultron’s own creator, Dr. Hank Pym and Pym’s wife, Janet van Dyne (the Wasp) of the superhero team The Avengers. Ultron soon sends his new servant to lead the Avengers into a trap. The Wasp is the first to encounter the synthezoid, and describes it as a “vision” while trying to escape. Adopting the name, Vision is convinced by the Avengers to turn against Ultron. After learning how Ultron created him, Vision becomes a member of the team. Not long after joining the team, Vision is temporarily controlled by Ultron and then battles the Avengers before regaining control of himself. When Vision attempted to penetrate an energy field erected by the villain Annihilus, he “shuts down”, and even after regaining consciousness weeks later, remains paralyzed and assumes a holographic form. He eventually regains control of his body and becomes team leader. Having become unbalanced by these events, he attempts to take control of the world’s computers. With the aid of the Avengers, Vision is restored to his normal self, but now he is more closely monitored by a coalition of governments.

Powers-

Visions bodily organs are constructed of synthetic materials. The Solar Jewel on Vision’s forehead absorbs ambient solar energy to provide the power needed for him to function. He is also capable of discharging this energy as optic beams; with this, he can fire beams of infrared and microwave radiation.
Vision is intangible and extraordinarily massive. He can change his density, which at its lowest allows flight and a ghostly, phasing intangibility. And at its heaviest, (a density ten times greater than that of depleted uranium) it gives him superhuman strength, immovability, and invulnerability. Using this extreme density he can thrust an intangible hand into his opponent and then partially re-materializes it, a process he describes as “physical disruption.”
Vision has superhuman senses, superhuman stamina, reflexes, speed, agility, strength (even without being at high density), superhuman analytical capabilities, and the ability to process information and make calculations with superhuman speed and accuracy.
Vision was trained in hand-to-hand combat by Captain America, is an expert in the combat use of his superhuman powers, and is a highly skilled tactician and strategist. He is also an expert on his own construction and repair.
Visions body is formed from millions of nanobots. He can split himself into smaller parts and change shape.
Vision is also capable of energy and holographic manipulation, shapeshifting and time travel.

Biography-

Centuries ago on the planet Ma’aleca’andra, the Green Martians known as M’yrnn and Sha’sheen gave birth to twin sons. The bearing of twins was uncommon among the Martian culture, and as such, the first of the twins was named J’onn J’onzz, whose name means “Light to the Light.” J’onn’s brother, however, was born a mutant, bereft of a Martian’s innate ability to communicate telepathically. He was named Ma’alefa’ak, whose name means “Darkness in the Heart.” As an adult, J’onn became a Manhunter (police officer) and married a Martian woman named M’yri’ah. The two established a modest home for themselves beneath the windswept Martian plains and gave birth to a daughter named K’hym. Years passed, and J’onn’s brother Ma’alefa’ak grew to despise everything about Martian culture. In an ambitious endeavor to commit full-scale genocide against his own people, he engineered a contagious virus known as H’ronmeer’s Curse. The virus reacted to telepathic energy and carried from one Martian to the next whenever they elected to use their psionic powers. The plague responded to a Martian’s innate fear of fire, causing them psychosomatic stress so intense, that their bodies and minds would literally burst into flames . J’onn desperately tried to keep his wife and daughter from using their mental gifts, but they were unable to do so, and thus ultimately contracted the virus. K’hym was the first to experience the symptoms, and M’yri’ah followed soon after. J’onn was anguished as he watched his family burning to death before his very eyes. The trauma of the event shattered his psyche, and nearly drove him mad. Meanwhile, on the planet Earth, a would-be scientist named Dr. Saul Erdel developed a transmitter machine based upon ancient Martian technology. Seeking to make contact with extraterrestrial life, he aimed his device towards the vicinity of Mars and activated it. The transmitter beam streaked across both space and time, striking the Martian Manhunter at a point in time several centuries before Erdel would even be born. The beam brought J’onn back to Erdel’s natural time era, where he collapsed on the ground outside of the doctor’s Colorado laboratory. Erdel brought the distraught Martian inside and attempted to nurse him back to health. The anguish of J’onn’s mental state created a psychic bond between the two, and Erdel became aware of the events that took place on Mars. In an effort to heal J’onn’s mind, Erdel used the mental link to fabricate a new history for the Martian. He created a back-story inspired by the writings of famous science fiction novelists such as Ray Bradbury and Edgar Rice Burroughs. Eventually, J’onn’s sanity was restored, and he was prepared to function in this strange, new world. Erdel put the idea into his head that he should become a great champion, and thus J’onn adopted the heroic guise of the Martian Manhunter.

Powers-

Martian Manhunter possesses a wide variety of abilities native to the Green Martian race such as superhuman strength, durability, flight, regeneration, shape-shifting, intangibility, invisibility, telepathy, telekinesis, extrasensory input, and optic blasts.
Martian Manhunter has vast shape shifting abilities that stem from complete control of his molecular structure. He is able to take on any shape he pleases. He takes the powers and weaknesses of whoever he turns into. He can form shapes of objects or organisms alive, extinct, or imagined, and he has often shown to grow an extra pair of arms to supplement his fighting abilities and his strength. He can become as stiff and unmovable or as flexible and malleable as he pleases. He can also alter his size or the size and length of his limbs. He often borrows mass from matter around him and incorporates it in his body, expelling it when he returns to his normal size.
Martian Manhunters density is variable and changes as he wills it. He can use this ability to become intangible and move through objects or allow attacks to fly by harmlessly through him or to become extremely dense to add more mass to his blows and increase his invulnerability. Martian Manhunters control over his own molecular structure also allow him to adapt his visibility, granting him the ability to become invisible at will. His shape shifting abilities extend beyond even that allowing himself to change his chemical composition. He was able to turn his skin into a thick exoskeleton of human bone in order to shield him from a corrosive that would normally disintegrate his Martian physiology.
Martian Manhunter is the most powerful telepath on Earth, being able to affect even the Spectre and Doctor Fate with his telepathy. Martian Manhunter’s telepathy exceeds even the telepathy of other members of the Martian race.
Martian Manhunter is capable of linking the minds of all superheroes at once from a distance of the moon to all corners of the earth. He is also capable of reading the minds of all inhabitants of earth at once.
Martian Manhunters telepathic abilities allow him to create realistic illusions; telepathically trace and locate people; shut down people’s minds; brain blast; mental shield; influence thoughts; mind control people; manipulate memory; astral projection; possession; induce sleep; reprogram or reorder minds; and transfer information directly into people’s brains. He is also capable of mentally shielding those around him from telepathic assault. His own mental defenses are so strong that he is able to telepathically shield himself.
Martian Manhunter is able to mentally control/manipulate (move, push, cut out, attract, and levitate) objects with his telekinesis even at the atomic level. He can manipulate atoms, subatomic particles, and cells perfectly. He can also use his telekinetic abilities to create an extremely powerful psionic Blast/Push and psionic Shield.
Martian Manhunter possesses “Martian Vision” allowing his eyes to see across the electromagnetic spectrum, including X-Ray Vision. He can also project energy beams, known as “Martian Beams”, that can vary from concussive impacts to disintegration. He also has nine senses compared to humans, giving him clearer and more numerable perceptions.
Martian Manhunters shapeshifting is an instantaneous reflex based around the psychic study of others, allowing him to adapt rapidly to any opponent’s physiology or fighting style.
Martian Manhunter is a very capable detective. He is like an amalgam of Superman and the Dark Knight himself.
Martian Manhunter can be harmed from fires of “psychic significance” such as flames of a magical or pyrokinetic nature. This weakness to fire is a built-in psychosomatic effect, placed in the Martian race long ago by the Guardians of the Universe to prevent them from reverting to a previous evolutionary state in which they were highly aggressive, on the verge of interstellar conquest, and in need of flames and the psychic suffering of others in order to reproduce.

  1. I’m pretty sure Martian Manhunter would take the win. He’s on a whole other level of power with far more abilities then vision. Even though is telepathy might not work on vision since he is a syntheziod (but I’m not to sure about that) his strength is comparable to Superman and his speed might be able to keep up with Flash (but definitely NOT beat him😂 HUGE FLASH FAN) leading him to a victory. MARTIAN MANHUNTER WINS🏆🏆

  2. Martian Manhunter surpasses Vision in every way. Martian Manhunter also has more feats, He has been able to hurt Superboy Prime and fight the Justice League by himself. Manhunter has much more strength and his intangibility is based off of dimensional warping unlike Visions’s which just makes his density smaller and smaller. Overall Martian wins because he has more powers, and surpasses the powers that he shares with Vision.
